- moisturize before applying makeup;
- apply cream to powder foundation with a slightly dampened sponge or foundation brush (this is recommended over mineral foundation, as the slight shimmer effect in the mineral may be too distracting in photographs. A semi-matte finish is better);
- apply concealer;
- dab a tiny amount of "daredevil" cream hi-lite to the apples of your cheek and blend (using two layers of blush gives longer " wear" to your makeup, so that it stays put all day...(this is layer 1). Also, the flash from cameras tends to make you appear paler than you are, so extra blush is needed to over-ride that);
- use a brush to apply loose powder over your entire face (this "sets" the makeup)-ladies with dry skin can skip this and go to the next step;
- apply powder blush over cheeks ( "tropicana" works well on all skin tones) and then a little "sunkissed" highlighter to your cheekbones for added pop!
